British Data Awards 2024 Finalist

We’re delighted to announce that Matatika has been named a Finalist in the British Data Awards 2024. The British Data Awards is an annual quest to discover and celebrate the UK’s data success stories. Organisations taking part this year range from FTSE 100 heavyweights, public sector pioneers, technology unicorns, fast-growing scale-ups, essential Not-For-Profits, and everything in between. A record 321 entries were received for the fourth edition of the British Data Awards which means that competition to be named a Finalist proved to be particularly tough, so we’re especially pleased to be announced as a Finalist.

What a busy month so far!  In the last 2 weeks, we’ve pushed 250 changes into production.  Mostly new features based on your feedback.  Keep them coming! Our Data Scientists and Data Heroes told us they need a better way to collaborate on their insights and one that works with their existing tools. Data collaboration unlocked

At Matatika Towers, we have been locked away in the “upstairs upstairs” feverishly developing our cloud native data collaboration platform. I know we are all holding out for a bit of good news right now, which is why we are excited to announce the Matatika BETA programme.

A private matter

Zoom is under scrutiny this week as people all over the world flock to their service for virtual meetings. Quite a few people have been caught out by the way meeting minutes are captured – all private chats are recorded into the meeting minutes. Potentially embarrassing or job threatening of course. But the issues don’t stop there.
